Pink Witch, with the 12
Join the 12, a collective of women writers, and some guests, for a showcase of Pink Witch, a visceral, wry and ever surprising anthology responding to the 2023 Barbie movie and the Witches of Scotland campaign – a campaign for historic justice for the people, primarily women, executed for witchcraft in Scotland. Unearthing the unexpected parallels between these two prompts, the poems question identity, vilification and the names and tropes historically used to constrain women. Expect poems that are intimate and eclectic, sombre and funny, light-hearted and reflective.
